Body Measurements — Inches 

How to measure:

Measure the child while standing naturally. Keep the measuring tape comfortably close to the body without pulling tightly.

WHERE TO MEASURE

CHEST / BUST 

Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape horizontal. 

WAIST

Measure around the natural waist — the narrowest part of the torso.

Hips

Measure around the fullest part of the hips and bottom. 

HEIGHT 

Measure from the top of the head to the floor, with the child standing straight.

MONABBEY FIT TIP 

If your child’s measurements fall between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size, especially when purchasing structured or fitted garments. 

Please note: Age is a guide only. Always choose the size based on the child’s actual body measurements.
